Abstract

This paper presents a secondary-data review of nanomaterials and their chemical applications, an important area of contemporary chemistry. The review examines fundamental principles, chemical mechanisms, analytical approaches, applications, limitations and future research directions. Published literature indicates that performance depends on molecular structure, reaction conditions, interfaces, transport processes and the quality of characterization. Current research increasingly emphasizes selectivity, stability, efficiency, sustainability and practical scalability. The paper synthesizes established findings to explain how chemical principles are translated into useful technologies and identifies areas where additional research is required. The review also highlights the importance of combining experimental evidence with analytical chemistry and, where appropriate, computational modeling. Overall, the literature supports an integrated approach in which fundamental chemical understanding is connected with measurable performance, safety, resource efficiency and realistic operating conditions.
