Abstract

This study aims to highlight the pivotal role that digital transformation plays in shaping the features of outstanding performance within higher education institutions, in light of rapidly evolving technological challenges. The research problem lies in how to transition universities from traditional models to an integrated digital environment that ensures efficiency and organizational effectiveness. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to review the concepts of digital transformation and its dimensions, while identifying the strategic steps and essential stages required to enhance institutional performance toward excellence. The findings indicate that digital transformation is not merely a replacement of technological tools; rather, it is a comprehensive reengineering of academic and administrative processes that requires robust infrastructure and qualified human competencies.
